i was black. i rule. the reason he played the queens gambit was cause i asked him to - and i played the albin counter-gambit cause i wanted to try it out, see what it was like.

e3 Was the loosing move. As everyone knows the Albing CG properly should be met with Nf3 Nc6 g3 for example. e3 is just bad. I also think you should've used the powerful check on b4. For example:

1. d4 d5 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 d4 4. Nf3 Nc6 5. e3 Bb4+! Bd2 dxe3 Bxb4? exf2+ Kf2 Qxd1 Kxd1 Nxb4 with better chances for black.
